How we can support with yoga, mediation and retreats

  • Liila skillfully and with heart takes her students through a class that - while virtual - feels highly interactive. She checks in with the class frequently, checks poses, and brings a soothing community feeling to the whole experience. I highly recommend her classes!

    Liz, USA

  • Thanks Liila for this magnificent class. It really is one of a kind, not your average yoga class. I love all the experience and knowledge that you share with us. I especially love the energy and enthusiasm that you generate.

    Lisa, Australia

  • Liila generously conducted yoga classes during breaks at work. We found her to be methodical, engaging and spiritually connectable. She is able to deliberate on complex yogic concepts in simple language and guide the student on a journey of consciousness.

    Sharad, Australia

  • Best yoga teacher in the world!

    Nicholas, Australia

  • Liila has such a kind and welcoming presence and I really admire the consideration and care she offers to everyone, whether it's with an individual or in a group. I've never had a strong interest in yoga but taking Liila's classes have been really beneficial for me even though I've tried other yoga practices in the past. Liila is also extremely committed to keeping what she offers accessible and equitable to everyone and truly practices what she teaches.

Understanding the benefits of yoga and meditation

Meditation is an endeavour to find a link between individual consciousness and cosmic consciousness, between ota and prota yoga. It is an invitation to take an inner journey within toward the source of infinite happiness that lies hidden in all of us.

A 2015 article in Forbes magazine (“7 Ways Meditation Can Actually Change the Brain”, by Alice Walton, Forbes.com) noted that meditation improves memory and concentration, helps reduce stress, anxiety and social anxiety, improves mood and emotional wellbeing, helps reduce addiction, decreases feelings of craving and helps our youth in school. With all those benefits, why not try it?

Yoga comes from the root word “Yunj”, meaning union or fusion.  Our yoga practices help us to create a sense of joy and wellbeing, while at the same time balancing our hormones, creating flexibility and core strength, supporting our joints, reducing stress, fatigue and low mood and improving balance and tone.

Internationally trained and educated instructors in yoga, meditation, and yoga therapy

Our yoga and meditation teachers and yoga therapists have trained under some of the very best teachers in India and the West. We have a solid foundation in yoga-based practice and have, in some cases, many years of experience teaching, running retreats and delivering one-on-one sessions.
